Urban Safari, the Leo award winning riotous comedy by director Reto Salimbeni, focuses on the Johnsons, your average, everyday, upwardly mobile couple who, pretending to go on a five star African safari, end up hiding in their New York apartment. While their apartment is used by their co-workers for various immoral and illegal purposes, Urban Safari takes a comedic look at the price of ambition while the Johnsons get a first-hand look at the people they aspired to be.
 
Sold in over 120 countries to date, Urban Safari was released theatrically in Europe in August 1996 and the United States in October 1997. Also available on HBO and Super-channel. Distributed in the United States by Warwick Films, in Canada by Astral Entertainment and internationally by Sullivan Entertainment International. Also available on video.
 
Starring David Naughton (American Werewolf In London), Linda Cash (Ernest Rides Again), Andrea Nemeth (Look Who's Talking Now), Donnelly Rhodes (DaVinci's Inquest), and Barry Pepper (Saving Private Ryan, The Green Mile). Co-produced by Yaletown Entertainment and Full Circle Films. 96 minutes.
