CANNES, FRANCE
The Company announces that the feature film, Urban Safari, one of the assets forming a part of its previoulsy announced proposed Major Transaction, was screened at the International Film Market at Cannes, France. In addition to exposure to a broad cross-section of international film distributors, Urban Safari was reviewed by the internationally recognized film trade magazine, Variety.
Wrote David Stratton in Variety's Cannes Daily publication (May 27, 1995) "...the director shows a sure comic touch." "Salimbeni and his trio of writers keep the nonsense bubbling along entertainingly..." "...top performances from several of the cast, especially Brazeau as the gross Carl, enliven things..."
PALM SPRINGS, CALIFORNIA
Urban Safari has been invited to the Palm Springs Film Festival as an official entrant. The screening will be on June 28, 1995 in Palm Springs, California.
VANCOUVER PREMIERE SCREENING
A premiere screening of Urban Safari will be held at Vancouver on June 29, 1995 for cast, crew, selected guests and shareholders in the 360 seat Robson Square Media Centre. A limited number of additional seats are available and interested members of the financial community or potential shareholders can request tickets by fax (688-0114) or phone (688-0118). Tickets are limited, therefore, requests will be filled on an "as available" basis.
MAJOR TRANSACTION
All potential shareholders are reminded that the acquisition of the film assets, including the 50% interest in Urban Safari Films Inc., which will constitute the Company's Major Transaction, remains subject to the approval of the shareholders and the Alberta Stock Exchange.
