NEW INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION AGENT APPOINTED
Yaletown Entertainment Corp. (the "Corporation") announces that at the Corporation's request mutually agreeable terms have been reached to terminate the distribution agreement between its 50% subsidiary, Urban Safari Films Inc., and TSC Film Distribution Corporation effective April 15, 1996.
The Corporation is pleased to announce that Urban Safari Films Inc. has appointed Sullivan Entertainment International Inc. as its exclusive world-wide distributor for the comedy feature film Urban Safari. The distribution agreement, which expires December 31, 1998, allows Sullivan to distribute Urban Safari in all forms of media in all languages world-wide, except for the United States. Sullivan is a well known international distributor which has handled such successful Canadian titles as Road to Avonlea and Anne of Green Gables.
Discussions are underway with several distributors, including Sullivan, with respect to distribution rights for the United States.
