INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION AGENT APPOINTED FOR CURSE OF THE LOST GOLD MINE
Yaletown Entertainment Corp. (the "Company") announces that it has entered into a distribution agreement whereby Sullivan Entertainment International Inc. has been appointed exclusive world-wide distribution agent for the Company's one hour television docu-drama Curse of the Lost Gold Mine.
The distribution agreement, which expires in 1999, allows Sullivan to distribute Curse of the Lost Gold Mine in all forms of media in all languages world-wide except for Canada. Curse of the Lost Gold Mine, which won Silver Medals at both the New York Television Festival in the docu-drama category and the Charleston International Film and Video Festival in the television documentary category, has already been licensed in Canada to CanWest Global Entertainment.
Sullivan is a well known international distributor which has handled such successful Canadian titles as Road to Avonlea and Anne of Green Gables. Sullivan is also the international distributor for the Company's Leo Award winning comedy feature film Urban Safari.
