WORK COMMENCES ON GORRO PROPERTY, CHILE
VANCOUVER, B. C., CANADA --- Yaletown Entertainment Corp. announces that a Stage I exploration program has commenced on the Company's 27 square kilometre Gorro property. The property is located in the Rio Negro Valley in the Maipo corridor approximately 75 kilometres south-east of Santiago, Chile. The program is being conducted by rock climbing geologists under the supervision of Richard Culbert, Ph.D., the Company's consulting geologist. A further reconnaissance of the surrounding area will also be undertaken.
According to Dr. Culbert's 1996 report on the Gorro property, the Gorro contains at least three styles of mineralization of interest: chalcopyrite and copper oxides disseminated in siltstones with apparent gold credits, mineralized gypsum diapirs with both precious and base metals, and volcanogenic massive sulphide beds with a chalcopyrite component.
Results of this Stage I program will be released as they are received.
