September 30, 1997 A.S.E Trading Symbol: YAL Weird Homes of America VANCOUVER, B. C., CANADA ------Yaletown Entertainment Corp. (the "Company") announces that it has entered into an agreement with the Life Network for the further development of the proposed television series Weird Homes of America. Life Network will have the first right to acquire the Canadian television broadcast rights to Weird Homes of America. The series of one-half hour episodes, based on Jim Christy's popular photo essay book "Strange Sites", will ffeature some of America's most unusual and bizarre homes and the people who built and live in them. Urban Safari The Company also announces that the comedy feature film Urban Safari is scheduled to begin its U.S. theatrical release on October 17, 1997. Distribution is being handled by Warwick Pictures, Inc. of Houston, Texas. Urban Safari has been sold recently to Home Box Office pay television in the United States and SuperChannel pay television in Canada. To date, Urban Safari has been sold in 43 countries world wide.
