Monday, February 23, 1998 A.S.E Trading Symbol: YAL YALETOWN REACHES AGREEMENT FOR "WEIRD HOMES" SERIES VANCOUVER, B. C., CANADA ------Yaletown Entertainment Corp. (the "Company") announces that an agreement has been reached with Life Network Inc. whereby Life Network will acquire the Canadian television broadcast license for an initial thirteen episodes of the television series Weird Homes. Pursuant to the terms of the letter of understanding Weird Homes will be broadcast in prime time commencing in September, 1998. Pre-production will begin immediately with production to commence April 1, 1998. The agreement is subject to a number of routine conditions as follows:
The Company does not anticipate any difficulty satisfying these conditions. Hosted by humourist and broadcaster Arthur Black, Weird Homes, based on the photo essay book Strange Sites by Jim Christy, takes a comedic look at some of America's most unusual and bizarre homes and the people who built and live in them.
