Weird Homes - Neilsen Ratings!
After a successful summer production season Weird Homes was launched Canada-wide on Life Network this fall season. According to Neilson Media Research's first television ratings for the fall season, Weird Homes was ranked, based on viewership, the third most popular show out of forty programs broadcast by the Life Network. "To place third with a new show is really amazing." said company Chairman John Cumming. "We're very pleased." Weird Homes is a thirteen episode documentary series featuring peculiar homes and their often-eccentric owners.
Weird Homes - International Distribution Agreement
The Company is further pleased to announce that an international television Distribution Agreement has been reached with Great North International Inc. whereby Great North will act as agent for international television sales world-wide, except for the United States, for Weird Homes.
Headhunter - Update
The Company announces that it has completed the screenplay for the feature film Headhunter, a horror thriller based on the novel by Michael Slade. The next step will be to market the screenplay to studios, co-production partners and distributors.
Chile Mineral Property - Abandonment
The Company has determined that given the conditions of the base metal markets and the financial markets for junior companies in the resource sector it will not be proceeding with Project Taltal. The Company remains interested in diversification and in the resource exploration sector in particular but, for the foreseeable future, will focus its energies on its core business of film and television production. Yaletown Entertainment Corp. is a Canadian film producer listed on the Alberta Stock Exchange under trading symbol YAL.
