Weird Homes Awarded GOLD WORLDMEDAL By The New York Festivals!
VANCOUVER, B. C., CANADA ------Yaletown Entertainment Corp. (the "Company") is pleased to announce that its television series Weird Homes has been awarded the GOLD WORLDMEDAL for best documentary series in the Biography/Profiles category by the prestigious 41st New York Festivals.
"To be granted a first place award by a distinguished panel of international judges is a huge honour," said Yaletown C.E.O. John Cumming. "Weird Homes was selected from amongst 2,320 entries from over 40 countries. To achieve both audience support and now critical acclaim makes us very proud. Elegant but eccentric, batty but beautiful, Weird Homes is a thirteen episode documentary series of one-half hour shows featuring some of North Americas most peculiar homes and the people who built and live in them.
The GOLD WORLDMEDAL will be accepted on behalf of Yaletown by associate producer Eva Wunderman at the awards ceremony in New York. The awards night will be attended by over one thousand people from the television industry including broadcasters, producers, distributors and directors.
