VANCOUVER, B. C., CANADA ------Yaletown Entertainment Corp. (the "Company") is pleased to make the following announcement:
Weird Homes Nominated for Gemini Award!
Weird Homes, the Company's critically acclaimed and award winning television series, has been nominated for a Gemini Award. The Gemini Award, like its American counterpart the Emmy, is awarded for "outstanding achievement in Canadian English-language television". The 14th Annual Gemini awards, administered and produced by the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, will be held on November 5th, 6th and 7th. President and Weird Homes Producer Mike Collier will attend the ceremony on behalf of the Company.
Selected from amongst 3,200 entrants and 450 shows, Weird Homes first season was nominated in the category Best Lifestyle Series for programs televised nationally between June 1st, 1998 and April 30th, 1999. Weird Homes first season was earlier awarded a Gold WORLDMEDAL by a panel of international judges at the prestigious New York International Television Festival for Best Documentary Series - Biography/Profiles.

Our broadcaster, the Life Network, is very pleased with the series and the viewer response to Weird Homes, which was terrific, made it the highest rated Canadian produced show on the Life Network."
The Company is presently producing the second season of Weird Homes. The first show of the second season aired earlier this week. The Company has delivered the first 13 of 26 new shows to Life Network with the remaining 13 episodes in various stages of post production.
