VANCOUVER, B. C., CANADA ------Yaletown Entertainment Corp. (the "Company") is pleased to make the following announcement:
NEGOTIATIONS WITH DISCOVERY CHANNEL
The Company is pleased to announce that has entered into negotiations with Discovery Channel U.S. with respect to the broadcast licensing of Weird Homes and Weird Wheels. The negotiations are being conducted directly by the Company as the United States was exempted from the international distribution agreement entered into with Cargo Releasing of New York.
NEW TRADING SYMBOL
Effective September 25, 2000 the Company commenced trading on the Canadian Venture Exchange under a new trading symbol ECY. The change in symbol is not the result of any corporate change within the Company. The change in symbol was required as part of the merger of the Canadian Dealing Network with the CDNX under which the symbol for the new Tier 3 companies will begin with the letter 'Y'.
