(the "Company") is pleased to make the following announcement: YALETOWN SIGNS 45 NEW EPISODES FOR 2001! VANCOUVER, B. C., CANADA ------Yaletown Entertainment Corp. (the "Company") is pleased to make the following announcements: DEVELOPMENT DEAL AND BOOK OPTION The Company has entered into an agreement with renowned Vancouver restauranteur Umberto Menghi to option the television rights to his most recent book Toscana Mia and to develop a new food series staring Umberto Menghi. The series will be 100% owned by the Company. BROADCAST LICENSE FOR TOSCANA MIA The Company has entered into a deal memo for a broadcast license with the Food Network Canada pursuant to which the Company will produce six one-half hour specials on the food of Tuscany. The specials will be produced under the title Toscana Mia and will feature chef Umberto Menghi. The shows will be shot in Tuscany in June 2001 and will revolve around the food and culture of Tuscany. The shows will base from Villa Delia, Umberto Menghi's cooking school and villa in Tuscany. BROADCAST RENEWAL FOR WEIRD HOMES The Company has received a renewal broadcast license for its award winning hit series Weird Homes. During 2001 the Company will produce thirteen more episodes of Weird Homes for the Life Network. In conjunction with the Life Network, the Company has decided that Weird Homes will focus the series more on homes and personalities located in the United States with a view to enriching the series content and enhancing its marketability in the United States. This will be the series fourth season in Canada. The series has also been sold to the Discovery Channel in the United States. BROADCAST RENEWAL FOR WEIRD WHEELS The Company has received a renewal broadcast license for its new series Weird Wheels which was shot in the fall of 2000 and premiered in January 2001. The Company will produce twenty-six more episodes of Weird Wheels for the Life Network. This will be the second Canadian season for Weird Wheels. Weird Wheels has also been sold to the Discovery Channel for U.S. broadcast. "We are immensely pleased to have 45 episodes of our own shows committed this early in the season," commented Yaletown president Mike Collier. " We have every expectation of receiving additional foreign sales as the number of available episodes for each series increases. We also have several new series in development and discussions with interested broadcasters continue."
