Thursday, November 29, 2001 CDNX Trading Symbol: ECY SHAREHOLDER UPDATE VANCOUVER, B. C., CANADA ------Yaletown Entertainment Corp. (the "Company") is pleased to provide its shareholders with the following update: WEIRD HOMES PRODUCTION The Company announces that Season Four of Weird Homes has been completed and all shows have been delivered to the Company's Canadian broadcaster, Life Network. WEIRD WHEELS PRODUCTION The Company announces that principal photography of Season Two of Weird Wheels is 90% complete with 78 out of 80 stories covered. Editing of 15 of a total of 26 episodes is complete. The Company's broadcaster, the Life Network will begin broadcasting the second season of Weird Wheels in January 2002. Both Weird Homes and Weird Wheels are shot and completed in High Definition Television (HDTV) and are delivered with Dolby 5.1 Digital Surround Sound. U.S. AND INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION In the United States the 2000 season for both Weird Homes and Weird Wheels began airing on Discovery's Homes and Leisure Channel in June 2001. Thirty-nine episodes of Weird Homes and Weird Wheels from the Company's 2000 production season were delivered to Discovery's new HD Channel which is expected to launch later this year. Internationally Weird Homes has been licensed in over a dozen territories including Europe, Australia Singapore Korea, Hong Kong, Israel and Latin America. Weird Homes is the winner of the Gold WorldMedal for Best Documentary Series - Biography or Profiles category, the Gemini Award for Best Lifestyle series and the Leo Award for Best Director of a Lifestyle or Talk Show series. EMPLOYEES Mr. McMurchy has been terminated as Manager of Marketing and Corporate Communications. INVESTOR RELATIONS The Company's arrangement with Jeff Murdock for investor relations services was terminated. CHANGE OF DIRECTORS Mr. Bob Turner has resigned as a director. SEVERAL NEW SERIES IN ACTIVE DEVELOPMENT The Company continues to develop actively new television series. Currently in development are a new travelogue documentary series, a wildlife documentary special which may evolve into a series and a further spin-off series from the Company's successful Weird series franchise, Weird Homes and Weird Wheels.
